This was taken at The Olympic Flame Event in July 2012. Brian, John and myself had spent 7 months organising the event with Broadland District Council. When the day arrived it was the most glorious, hot sunny day, even at 4am when we went down to the village green to get the event started. It was the most amazing morning and Brian and I often talked about it as being one of our most memorable events.

After the event we had a meeting and Brian had bought us all mini Olympic Flames. He was so generous. I also remember Brian having an Olympic train set, which he set up at our Jubilee event that year.

We went on to organise an Old Time Musical event, a Victorian event and a 1940s weekend. We both loved organising events and bringing the community together.
