Brian was a lighting console operator at Anglia Television when I joined in 1979 and we worked together for 16 years. Later, as a freelance Lighting Director, I worked with him again on many productions, the best of which were 'Hero to Zero' and 'Dream Team', when he acted as my Lighting Gaffer. He was one of the very best, full of enthusiasm and energy. I shall miss him dearly. Philip Burne.
